Loved the bed. Very sturdy. I build a lot of things so I am singular about things holding up. Looks as neat as the picture. My kids were thrilled to have it. And it was taller than customary bunk beds so your head does not get hit while sleeping underneath. I nice suprise I hadn't envestigated. My oldest is 5 ft tall. And her head clears the ceiling by 5 inches (my ceilings are 8 ft). Hope this helps others make up their mind.
